Having gained a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Sound Engineering from the London College of Music, Martyn has been a live sound engineer for over 15 years. He works with established artists such as Paul Young, T’Pau and Martin Barre (Jethro Tull) as well as devoting a lot of time to up and coming artists such as Black Orchid Empire and The Bottom Line.
Alongside this extensive touring experience, Martyn is the senior sound engineer at the renowned Hard Rock Hotel, London, where he has been Front of House for artists including Orbital, Republica, Phats & Small and Steve Coogan. Martyn can also be found in the credits for much of the content on Vintage TV, having provided sound services for Marc Almond, UB40, Suzi Quattro and many more. Martyn is currently featured on the Bose Professional website for his work at Matera 18 Cava del Sole with Icebreaker’s rendition of “Apollo” by Brian Eno and has provided masterclasses on sound for Soundcraft and AKG. |
